How do you get your dog to take a pill? Place the pills in his cookie jar. They will absorb the flavor into the pill and your dog won't refuse to take his medication next time. Or you can put the pill in a dab of peanut butter and use a dog cookie or piece of cheese as a reward.  The pill can also be put into a teaspoon of cottage cheese.
